Welcome to The Budgie and Parakeet Place. I hope that your visit here has been enjoyable and that you have found all the budgie related information that you may have been looking for, and then some. My goal is to continually improve the information and services provided at The Budgie and Parakeet Place, keeping in mind the viewers and their budgies that make this site what it is.

I created this website back in February of 1997 when I was twelve years old. It started out as a simple webpage dedicated to budgies, and grew from there. The Budgie Place had received its last major updates back in 2001, after which Yahoo! deactivated my account for unknown reasons, restricting my access to The Budgie Place website and functions. Fortunately, Yahoo!'s customer care department was able to reactivate my account for me recently, and as of 08.14.05 The Budgie Place became The Budgie and Parakeet Place and received a major design overhaul. I hope that those who enjoyed the original site will love the new design even more.
