Buffy is a male sky blue yellowface type II. Buffy was the second baby of Grapes and Opal's very first clutch. He was given to my great-grandmother, who talked and played with him every day. She even taught him to talk. He could say "Hi Buffy" and other garbled phrases, and made kissy sounds. When my great-grandmother couldn't care for him any longer, he came to live with us. Because he lives with the other budgies now, he doesn't talk anymore, but he loves jumping up to the side of the cage to sing to anyone who puts their face near. Buffy is a singer, and he sings to the other budgies most of the day. He loves his bell toy, and rings it often, and incorporates the bell ring into his songs. He's very curious and playful, but doesn't like hands and will bite pretty hard if you let him. Anyhow, he's the star of this website!
